Everything prospects ask us before starting an engagement — honest answers, no sales script.

Primarily mid-market companies — 50 to 500 employees — in manufacturing, professional services, healthcare, and government contracting. We've also worked with high-growth startups that need enterprise-grade infrastructure without the enterprise vendor lock-in. If your team has a specific IT problem that needs solving, we'll tell you if we're the right fit.
All five are core capabilities, not side services. However, automation and AI are where we see the highest ROI for most clients — those are the areas where we've built the most repeatable frameworks. Networking and infrastructure tend to be more project-specific. Cybersecurity is a standalone service but also a component of almost every engagement.
Yes. We regularly integrate with in-house IT teams and existing vendor relationships. We can act as a strategic overlay — handling the projects your team doesn't have bandwidth for — or take full ownership of a domain. We'll work with whatever stack you've already invested in rather than ripping it out unless there's a compelling reason to.
New inbound inquiries get a response within one business day — usually within a few hours. For existing clients, we target same-business-day acknowledgment for urgent issues. For non-urgent project requests, we schedule scoping within 3–5 business days depending on complexity.
Yes. We offer monthly retainer agreements for clients who want ongoing access — scheduled check-ins, SLA-backed response times, and priority queue for new work. We also offer ad-hoc support on a time-and-materials basis for clients who don't need a retainer but want a trusted vendor to call when something comes up.
Our team holds certifications across AWS, Microsoft Azure, CompTIA Security+, and CCNA. We've led SOC 2 readiness programs for clients in regulated industries, implemented HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, and navigated FedRAMP requirements for government-adjacent clients. We'll tell you upfront if a requirement is outside our scope.
Yes. We've guided companies through initial SOC 2 Type II audits, HIPAA compliance programs, and PCI DSS scoping. We're not a substitute for a compliance auditor, but we handle the technical infrastructure side — controls implementation, logging, access management, and evidence collection — so your team isn't reverse-engineering requirements from scratch.
It depends on scope. A focused automation project — identifying one high-friction workflow and replacing it — can be delivered in 4–6 weeks. A multi-vertical infrastructure overhaul typically runs 3–6 months. Network redesigns or cloud migrations are usually 2–4 months. We scope the full timeline before work begins and give you milestones, not just an end date.
Every engagement starts with a diagnostic call (free, 30 minutes) to understand your situation and goals. If there's a fit, we follow with a scoped proposal that defines deliverables, timeline, and cost — no surprises. Once approved, we run weekly status updates and deliver working outputs on schedule. We close with documentation and a handoff review so your team can operate what we've built.
All three, depending on the work. Most clients prefer fixed-scope projects — you know what you're paying before we start. Retainers work for ongoing relationships where you want consistent access and predictable cost. Hourly engagement is reserved for smaller ad-hoc requests or exploratory work. We give you the model that fits the problem, not the one that maximizes our billings.
Our typical engagement starts at $5,000. Smaller scoped work — a single automation, a quick security assessment, a focused migration — can sometimes be done under that threshold depending on complexity. We don't take on work we can't deliver quality on, so if your budget is significantly below a realistic cost for what you need, we'll tell you rather than quote it anyway.
Yes. We use a standard master services agreement that covers scope, payment terms, IP ownership, and confidentiality. For smaller engagements under $10,000, we typically use a statement of work only — no full MSA required. We can have a client-ready MSA in your inbox within a day of agreement on terms.
